Following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, John Brust is President and CEO of Brust Funeral Home Ltd. in Lombard and Brust Villa Park Funeral Home. John's dedication to helping others is reflected in his work and his service to the community of Lombard.
John is active in civic affairs and a former member of the faculty of Worsham College. He served as President of the DuPage Funeral Directors Association. A well known lecturer in DuPage County, John speaks on grief issues and the funeral profession to special interest, community and civic groups.
Jack Brust founded Brust Funeral Home in Lombard in 1952, pursuing the profession of his father, Fred W. Brust. Jack's commitment to helping others extends to the community as well. He founded the DuPage Funeral Directors Association and rekindled the tradition of Lombard's annual Lilac Parade.
As Chairman or President, Jack has led many other civic organizations: Lombard Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Lions Club, Friends of the Library, Lombard YMCA and the Rotary Club. Recognized for his work in the community, Jack honors include being awarded Man of the Year in Lombard and Carol Stream.
Joseph P. Lyne
Born and raised in Hillside, Illinois, Joe is the 7th of 14 children born to Frank & Fran Lyne. Joe attended St. Domitilla grade school and is a 1982 graduate of Proviso West High School.
He received his Associates Degree in Mortuary Sciences and Funeral Service from S.I.U.C. in 1985. Joe has 26 years experience as a Funeral Director and Embalmer.
Past board Member of the Lombard Chamber of Commerce, Current Board Member and Past President of the DuPage County Funeral Directors Association.
Joe and his wife, Andrea are raising their two children, Frank, and Abigail here in Lombard. Joe is an active Member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lombard.
