Alan’s loves were his families: His immediate family and his second family, Midwest Army. He loved all his family; though we never said it, we knew it. He had a special bond with his only niece, Nadia. He loved her so much and always worried about her. Nadia loves him so much and he also loved her, that was her uncle Alan , Nadia grew up with him her whole life.
The boys Aidan and Tyler had their bond too that was their “Alien Alan”, yes, Alien, as they could not say uncle.
Alan was always smiling throughout his life, and he had the best smile. He lit up the room when he walked in. All of his will remember of him as our sunshine. Alan had a special bond with all of us. For his sister, he was my protector, thank you for protecting me.
Ryan and Alan had a very close bond. Erik had their special bond too and we will never forget.
We as both of his families lay him to rest.
