Obituary

Clifford Charles Iannella, Age 78, of Glen Ellyn, IL and formerly Lodi, WI, passed away December 28, 2020.

Cliff was the beloved husband of 52 years of Holly J. nee Larson, who preceded him in death 20 days earlier.  Cliff was loved by his 4 children and their spouses, Steven Iannella, David (Missi) Iannella, Julie (Scott) Ruoti and Carrie (Kevin) Belousek.  He was adored by his 6 grandchildren, Alex Spires, Josh Belousek, Ryan and Nico Ruoti, and Lindsay and Andrew Iannella.  He also leaves behind his youngest sister, Char (Mark) Praxmarer.

Cliff was preceded in death by his wife, Holly J. nee Larson, his parents, Charles and Ruth Iannella and his sisters, Cathleen (Rick) Sorensen and Carol (John) Prikopa.

Clifford graduated from Maine Township High School in Park Ridge.  He attended the University of Illinois and served in the Army during the Vietnam War.  He trained at Fort Knox, KY as a member of an artillery gun/howitzer crew.  He received advanced training as a cannoneer at the Army artillery and missile center at Fort Sill, OK. He continued his service in the army as a reservist.

Cliff raised his children with his wife, Holly, in Schaumburg, IL.  He had a rewarding career as an Information Systems Manager at Breuer Tornado in Chicago, IL.  He retired from his field after working at SE Technologies as a Business System Specialist.  He was an active member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

Cliff and Holly retired  to Lake Wisconsin in Lodi, Wisconsin, for over 20 years.  He enjoyed boating, fishing, gardening and landscaping.  He was a member of the Lake Wisconsin Boat Club and continued his faithful service to the Lord at Dekorra Lutheran Church.

Together with his wife, Holly, they entertained friends, old and new, and created a home away from home for all of their children and grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed.
