Harold “Harry” O’Shea, Jr., age 75, USMC Vietnam Veteran, of Lombard, passed away August 3, 2021, at his home.
Harry was the loving husband of Patricia nee DeLisle; loving father of Kevin (Andrea) of Wheaton, Sean of Lombard, Brian of Lombard; fond grandfather of 5: Riley, Preslee, Gavin, Charlie and Bobbie; dear brother of Dennis (Janet) of East Troy, WI and the late Ronnie (Jessie); fond uncle of Jimmy (Peggy) DeLisle of Chicago; Chanin O’Shea of East Troy, WI; Kelly (Johnny) Wohlford of East Troy, WI and many other relatives and friends.
Harry was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War era from 1965-1969. He loved the Marines.
Harry had been a resident of Lombard for 20 years. He retired from ComEd in 1995. He loved baseball and 16” softball. He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Minnesota Vikings. He was also a fan of Motown and the Blues.
Harry loved to gather with friends at the pub.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 7, with a Visitation from 3-7 PM, with Military Honors at 4 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard. Masks are required for this service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hydrocephalus Association, 4340 East West Highway, Suite 905, Bethesda, MD 20814, would be appreciated.
