Obituary

Janet Jansen Hayes, age 81, of Lombard, and formerly of Wheaton and Beloit, WI, passed away at her home on December 13, 2020.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 19th from 9 AM until time of funeral prayers at 11:30 AM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S Main St, Lombard, proceeding to Christ the King Church, for 12:00 PM Mass. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.

Janet was the beloved wife of the late Robert Daniel Hayes; loving mother of Julie (John) Peck and Michael (Tammy) Hayes; cherished grandmother of Andrea Peck; dear sister of Margo (the late William) Brennock, and Helen (Edward) Felsenthal; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Janet was a devoted parishioner of Christ the King Church. She was a Bears fan and enjoyed playing Bridge, traveling, and loved a good glass of wine.
