Jeanette Eckert Hall, 90, transitioned peacefully to her heavenly home on February 7, 2021 at the home of her daughter, Susan Morrison, in Lombard, IL. As the morning sun rose, her spirit rose from her broken, hurting, and tired heart & body to the new reality of no more crying, sorrow, or pain.
Much of her 90 years here were marked by serving.
She served her country as an officer in The United States Air Force.
She served others in her community as a Registered Nurse all of her life.
She served her church for many, many years as a pianist and Sunday School Teacher.
She loved and cared for her husband of 64 years, Jim.
She was a mother of 4, a grandmother of 11, and great-grandmother of 6.
She enjoyed communicating with and talking to her many friends throughout the years, and expressed often her deep gratitude for these loved ones and prayer-partners right up to the end of her sojourn here on this earth.
By God's goodness and grace she endured some of the most hurtful and heartbreaking things one can imagine.
In many conversations and consolations in the difficult times, her concluding statement with me was always the same: "We just have to keep praying, and keep trusting."
As I remember my mother, I do so filled with exceedingly great joy and thankfulness for the loving and sovereign hand of our Lord, and the living hope that He provides that will never perish, spoil, or fade.
