Obituary

Jovita Ruiz, age 93, of Lombard, died May 22 at Rush-Copley Medical Center.

Jovita was the beloved wife of the late Lauro “Ed”.  She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters.  She was the aunt of many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Jovita had lived in Lombard for over 45 years.  She was a former Square Dancer and a Lunch Bunch Bowler.  She loved to sew. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Church.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 28, with a Visitation from 8:00 AM until the time of Prayers at 9:30 AM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, thence to 10:00 AM Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 114 S. Elizabeth St., Lombard.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Rush Copley Foundation, 2000 Ogden Avenue, Aurora, Illinois 60504 are appreciated.
