Obituary

Judith “Judie” A. Kapolczynski nee Wilimzik, age 80, of Lombard, died March 30, 2022 in Wooddale.  Loving wife of Marcel “Marty;” loving mother of Matt (Sarah) and the late Robert; fond grandmother of Elizabeth Aukst of Lombard and Eva Aukst of Lombard; dear sister of the late Barbara (John) Solobodnik; and fond Aunt of seven.

Judie retired from Illinois Bell. She was a member of the Crestview Garden Club and was a volunteer at Cat Guardians. She was an avid gardener and loved cats.

Judie grew up in Berkeley, Maywood and then moved to Lombard in 1965.

She was married to Marty at St. Domitilla Catholic Church 55 years ago.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022, from 3 to 8 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.  Prayer Service Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 9:30 AM thence to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 114 S. Elizabeth St., Lombard for 10:00 AM Mass.  Interment Private at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
