Obituary

June M. Kolar nee Malek, age 92, died February 6, 2021 at her home.

June was the beloved wife of the late Charles F. ; loving mother of Keith (Donna) of Wheaton, Wayne F. (Sally) of Evans, Georgia, and Bonnie K. (William) Reed  of Cincinnati, OH; adored grandmother of Kimberly (Andy) Dillon of Wheaton, Matthew Kolar of GA, Brittany (Rande Archer) Kolar of WV, Katie Reed of South Korea, Megan (Josh) Andrews of OH, and Eric Reed of OH; great-grandmother of 3, Shane, Sophia and Parker; Aunt of JoAnn (Don) Millard of PA; and relative of many.

June was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles F. and granddaughter, Kristen Kolar.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, February 14, from 1-6 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St. in Lombard.  Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 15, at 11 AM at Brust Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Forest Park, IL.

June grew up in Berwyn, IL and had been a resident of Lombard since 1968.  She retired from AT&T in the mid - 1990’s. She was a member of the Lombard Service League and Telephone Pioneers.

June was active with her friends and neighbors.  She enjoyed family, travel, gardening, dogs, polka music  and Czech food.
