Laurel always had a deep love for children and in her retirement years she and Don cherished the time spent with children and grandchildren. Holidays and “anydays” were made special by being with the young ones. She was blessed to be called Grandma and later GGma by younger family members.
Laurel loved her Lord deeply and spent her adult life in two church families – St. John Evangelical Lutheran and St. Timothy Evangelical Lutheran, both in Lombard.
