Obituary

Susan M. Leahy nee O’Brien, age 76, of Lombard, died March 3, 2021 at her home.

Susan was the loving wife of 54 years of James; beloved mom of Kristine (John) Moore of Arlington Heights, Brien (Lauri) of Grayslake, Julie (Jason) Johnson of Lombard, Sean (Kristen) of South Elgin, and a late infant girl; loving grandmother of Shannon, Zachary, Meghan, Emily, Ciara, Thomas “T.J.”, Conor, Quinn, Bridget, Mackenzie and Gavin; dear sister of Kathleen Brennan of Lisle, Maureen (Joseph) Michalowski of Lombard, Timothy (Patricia) O'Brien of Glen Ellyn; and fond aunt of many.

Susan had been a resident of Lombard for 49 years.  She worked at World Savings & Loan in Oak Brook as a loan processor manager, and retired in 2006. Susan was a former member of the Germanfest Committee at Sacred Heart, Religious Education Board, and formerly volunteered at her children's school.

Visitation Sunday March 7th from 1 – 6 PM, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main Street, Lombard. Funeral Services Monday, March 8th, with Funeral Prayers at 9:30 AM to Sacred Heart Church, 114 S. Elizabeth St., Lombard, for 10 AM Mass. Interment private.
